En 2020, 70&nbsp;% des femmes exercent des&nbsp;<strong>m\u00e9tiers \u00ab&nbsp;f\u00e9minis\u00e9s&nbsp;\u00bb<\/strong>&nbsp;(c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire dans lesquels on trouve au moins 65&nbsp;% de femmes). Il s\u2019agit des m\u00e9tiers du soin et de la sant\u00e9 (aides-soignantes), des services aux particuliers (assistantes maternelles, aides m\u00e9nag\u00e8res) et des postes administratifs (secr\u00e9taires, employ\u00e9s administratifs, comptabilit\u00e9). De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, 64&nbsp;% des hommes exercent des&nbsp;<strong>m\u00e9tiers \u00ab&nbsp;masculinis\u00e9s&nbsp;\u00bb<\/strong>&nbsp;(dans lesquels on trouve au moins 65&nbsp;% d\u2019hommes)&nbsp;: des m\u00e9tiers du b\u00e2timent et des travaux publics, du transport (routier, coursier), de l\u2019industrie ou de l\u2019informatique en particulier. Dans les m\u00e9tiers d\u2019ex\u00e9cution, la segmentation des femmes et des hommes est encore plus notoire&nbsp;: les emplois d\u2019ouvriers sont exerc\u00e9s \u00e0 80&nbsp;% par des hommes et ceux d\u2019employ\u00e9s \u00e0 75&nbsp;% par des femmes (Source :&nbsp;<em>Minist\u00e8re du Travail \u2013 \u00a9 Observatoire des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s, 2020<\/em><em>).<\/em>&nbsp;Et m\u00eame si la mixit\u00e9 s\u2019accroit \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de certains m\u00e9tiers (plus de femmes cadres dans la banque et l\u2019assurance par exemple), les progr\u00e8s restent&nbsp;<strong>lents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le poids des st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de genre et la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 transgresser les r\u00f4les sexu\u00e9s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la plupart des cas, cette s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation professionnelle r\u00e9sulte de traditions culturelles profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9es. Les analyses les plus r\u00e9centes mettent au premier plan l\u2019influence des&nbsp;<strong>st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>genre<\/strong>. Ces st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes assignent aux femmes et aux hommes des r\u00f4les sociaux diff\u00e9renci\u00e9s (par exemple, les hommes seraient autoritaires et charismatiques, les femmes collaboratives et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute). Ces croyances nous influencent toutes et tous, et entretiennent la conviction que certaines activit\u00e9s sont inadapt\u00e9es aux Femmes et aux Hommes&nbsp;; elles nous&nbsp;<strong>enferment<\/strong>&nbsp;souvent dans des cat\u00e9gories de m\u00e9tiers : les hommes dans les m\u00e9tiers techniques et les femmes dans les m\u00e9tiers du soin. Sans le savoir, \u00e0 cause de ces repr\u00e9sentations, nous r\u00e9duisons le champ des possibles professionnels aussi bien pour les femmes que pour les hommes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Encore aujourd\u2019hui, nous constatons la persistance de parcours scolaires tr\u00e8s&nbsp;<strong>diff\u00e9renci\u00e9s<\/strong>entre filles et gar\u00e7ons. L\u2019\u00e9ducation nationale peine \u00e0 faire \u00e9voluer la mixit\u00e9 dans les formations initiales. A cet \u00e9gard, le poids des repr\u00e9sentations sexu\u00e9es parait particuli\u00e8rement lourd dans les choix faits en fin de coll\u00e8ge, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge o\u00f9 les jeunes sont en pleine construction identitaire. Les enqu\u00eates aupr\u00e8s des jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations montrent un affaiblissement relatif des st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de sexe, mais qui se traduit encore peu sur les choix d\u2019orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le r\u00f4le des Grandes \u00e9coles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les \u00e9coles de management o\u00f9 r\u00e8gne la parit\u00e9, on constate \u00e9galement que les \u00e9tudiants et \u00e9tudiantes ne s\u2019orientent pas vers les m\u00eames sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s. Les premiers sont nombreux \u00e0 se diriger vers la finance et ses carri\u00e8res r\u00e9mun\u00e9ratrices, les secondes vers le secteur de la communication, du marketing ou les ressources humaines. Derri\u00e8re la parit\u00e9 de fa\u00e7ade se reproduit souvent une&nbsp;<strong>s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation des fili\u00e8res<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019enjeu est pourtant de taille&nbsp;: d\u00e9velopper la mixit\u00e9 des m\u00e9tiers contribue \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 professionnelle, puisque pr\u00e8s d\u2019un quart de l\u2019\u00e9cart salarial moyen entre femmes et hommes s\u2019explique par la concentration des femmes sur des m\u00e9tiers moins qualifi\u00e9s, qui sont aussi les moins r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s (IGAS, 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00e9-\u00e9quilibrer les m\u00e9tiers, c\u2019est d\u2019abord lutter contre les repr\u00e9sentations st\u00e9r\u00e9otyp\u00e9es de certains m\u00e9tiers et le faire le plus t\u00f4t possible dans le syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif. C\u2019est aussi&nbsp;<strong>sensibiliser<\/strong>&nbsp;tout au long du parcours en \u00e9coles sup\u00e9rieures aux m\u00e9tiers dits f\u00e9minins et masculins, mais aussi \u00e0 l\u2019entrepreneuriat, afin de les \u00ab&nbsp;d\u00e9mystifier&nbsp;\u00bb et donner l\u2019envie aux un.e.s et aux autres d\u2019aller vers ces m\u00e9tiers, sans apriori, sans barri\u00e8re. C\u2019est aussi organiser des tables rondes, ateliers, forums avec des femmes et des hommes qui incarnent des&nbsp;<strong>r\u00f4les mod\u00e8les<\/strong>&nbsp;dans ces secteurs pour pourvoir s\u2019y identifier, et rendre attractif le m\u00e9tier. Il s\u2019agit surtout de cr\u00e9er une&nbsp;<strong>culture d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mondedesgrandesecoles.fr\/egalite-filles-garcons-dans-les-grandes-ecoles-quels-engagements-pour-aller-plus-loin\/\">https:\/\/www.mondedesgrandesecoles.fr\/egalite-filles-garcons-dans-les-grandes-ecoles-quels-engagements-pour-aller-plus-loin\/<\/a>, et de former les futurs managers aux biais inconscients qui peuvent les enfermer dans certains sch\u00e9mas, venant limiter leurs comp\u00e9tences et freiner le d\u00e9veloppement de leur plein potentiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.em-normandie.com\/fr\/sabrina-tanquerel\">Sabrina Tanquerel,&nbsp;<\/a><br>professeur assistant en gestion des ressources humaines<br>et d\u00e9veloppement personnel de l\u2019EM Normandie<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A propos de Sabrina Tanquerel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabrina Tanquerel est professeur assistant en gestion des ressources humaines et d\u00e9veloppement personnel et a rejoint l\u2019EM Normandie en 2011.
