Avec cette technologie de craquage, Air Liquide contribue au d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne en tant qu&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ment clef de la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ammoniac &#8211; une mol\u00e9cule compos\u00e9e d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne et d\u2019azote &#8211; peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme vecteur d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. Il peut \u00eatre produit avec une faible empreinte carbone \u00e0 partir d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne dans des g\u00e9ographies disposant de ressources abondantes en \u00e9nergies renouvelables telles que l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire, \u00e9olienne ou hydraulique, ou d\u2019autres \u00e9nergies bas-carbone. Une cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement globale existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 pour sa production, son transport et son utilisation \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle \u00e0 destination d\u2019industries diverses. Cela permet \u00e0 des r\u00e9gions disposant de ressources abondantes en \u00e9nergies renouvelables d\u2019exporter de l\u2019ammoniac \u00e0 travers le monde jusqu\u2019aux utilisateurs finaux, puis de le reconvertir localement en hydrog\u00e8ne pour contribuer \u00e0 la d\u00e9carbonation de l\u2019industrie et de la mobilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Combinant un nouveau proc\u00e9d\u00e9 efficient avec les technologies propri\u00e9taires d\u2019Air Liquide, cette unit\u00e9 pilote innovante devrait \u00eatre op\u00e9rationnelle en 2024. Le gouvernement flamand, \u00e0 travers le VLAIO (agence flamande pour l&rsquo;innovation et l&rsquo;entrepreneuriat), a confirm\u00e9 un soutien financier au projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis plus de 60 ans, Air Liquide ma\u00eetrise l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne depuis sa production, son transport, son stockage et sa distribution jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ses applications finales.
